If you are in a senior role such as holding a manager’s position whilst onsite and you’re about to embark on organising, controlling and monitoring both staff and workforce knowing how to do this within what Health and Safety states is therefore very important. If you do not know how to go about this, we have been the first choice of many. This is largely attributed to our track record of running several courses which are designed to help individuals who are in this exact situation.
Thanks to SMSTS courses, all of the relevant legislation as well as any other additional aspects which are found when working in the construction, industrial and civil engineering industries will be informed to you. Otherwise known as the Site Management Safety Training Scheme, there are multiple aims and objectives with this course. These include how to manage Health and Safety in accordance with current legal provisions as well as being able to recognise that a safe site is both efficient and productive. It is recommended that those who attend the course do so for all of the sessions because if they do not they won’t be awarded with the Construction Site Manager’s Safety Certificate.
Once the SMSTS course has been passed, it will not need refreshing for five years. However, as legislation and technology changes as each year passes it is recommended that the time needed in order to retake the course is actually three years.
Our SMSTS courses continue to be very popular and rightfully so. We understand how important it is to individuals to have the relevant level of training which can help them to progress their career. Thanks to this, we have decided to offer SMSTS training in multiple areas in the United Kingdom such as London Victoria, Newcastle and Birmingham.
